From the President
As president of JP Express I'd like to welcome you to our website, our company and
our philosophy. JP Express is a premier LTL carrier in the Northeastern USA. We
provide consistently excellent pickup and delivery service within the greater Northeastern
USA, with a special capability for moving freight within the five boroughs of NYC
and the surrounding tri-state area. We like to say that we're able to exceed expectations
in a part of the country where others can barely meet expectations. In addition,
through a network of trusted, reliable partners, we offer extended
service throughout New England, the Middle Atlantic States, and west to
Ohio and Florida.
Headquartered just outside New York City in Deer Park, Long Island, we operate five
service centers and over 400 pieces of modern equipment. We're extremely proud of
our staff of over 200, who all adhere to our core value of putting the customer
first, and who help us to uphold our reputation as, "The Trucking Company With a
Personal Touch." Today, that slogan has become the foundation for everything we
do.
Besides our unmatched ability to deliver freight throughout the Northeast, what
differentiates JP Express from other trucking companies is that every aspect of
our business revolves around our customers' needs. We recognize
that every customer is unique, and our goal is to accommodate each one based on
their individual needs. We know there are lots of carriers out there offering "cookie
cutter" services - each one exactly like the other - or that are so inflexible that
even small requests that fall outside their service parameters can't be accommodated.
It's in these situations that JP Express really shines.
You'll find us to be extremely flexible. We pride ourselves on being able to ship
any freight to any destination at any time. Our attitude is "can do," and we'll
do whatever it takes to solve your transportation problems. We
offer a large number of custom, and customizable services,
including our Time-Definite Delivery service,
Real-time/Spot Pricing (offering substantial savings on selected routes),
and our Dedicated Delivery service, through which
you can use our employees to service your customers (a tremendous help for companies
that want to avoid the expense and hassle of servicing important customers within
our service area). We're also dedicated to helping you do business more effectively
and efficiently, and to that end, we're making an on-going investment in
technology, including EDI, web-based functionality, and advanced routing
and tracking capabilities. As you can see, accommodating our customers by providing
a personal touch extends to every area of our business.
